Wet Chemical

Wet chemical is a specialist extinguisher specially designed for use on F class fires involving cooking fats and oils. The chemical knocks out the flames, cools the burning oil and seals the surface preventing re-ignition, turning the oil into a soap like substance. The extinguisher is equipped with an extended lance, producing a gentle but highly effective spray which provides an element of protection to the operator. This extinguisher will also extinguish Class A and Class B fires although it is not suitable for Class B petroleum oil fires.
